Maybe home is the best word for this page. After returning to Bulgaria five years ago after a ski trip in my teens I soon realised it was a place to put down new roots and following a few trips from the UK to find out where to live, I managed to purchase a ‘much needs love’ house in the Rila mountains with a plan to Airb&b in the future its going to be a busy few years of renovation of the main house, guest lodge (that will be known as the Snug) and the barn. It’s a good job I’ve spent my life in the building trade and can carry out most of the work myself.
